AACVPR Job Analysis Study

Dear colleague,
You are receiving this survey as part of a comprehensive Job Analysis Study of Cardiac Rehabilitation/Secondary Prevention Programs for the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).The AACVPR has just announced the launch of the first and only professional certification program for all healthcare practitioners in a cardiac rehabilitation setting. The survey you are receiving today is a list of task statements identified by experts in the field as pertaining to cardiac rehabilitation professionals. Now your help is needed in further evaluating and validating this list!
Participation by cardiac rehabilitation professionals who work in a cardiac rehabilitation setting is critical to the outcome of the study. Please take this opportunity to contribute to the development of the Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) Examination that will be offered beginning in September, 2014.
If there are other staff members who work regularly in cardiac rehab, but have not received this email and would like to participate, we welcome all participants. Please kindly forward this invitation to email addresses they use so that they can complete the survey. Thank you!
When you are ready, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CCRPjobtaskanalysis to begin.
Please complete the survey as soon as possible – within the next week would be preferable. (We anticipate it will take less than 20 minutes.) Your decision to participate is voluntary and individual responses will be kept confidential.
For more information on Professional Certification, please visit the Professional Certification page on the AACVPR website here.
Thanks in advance for helping shape our profession.
Sincerely,
Karen Lui, RN, MS, MAACVPR
Chair, AACVPR Professional Certification Commission
