Regulations for Certification of Cardiac Rehabilitation
North Carolina law requires state rule making bodies to periodically review all existing regulations. The review process is now in effect for rules regulating Certification of Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs. Information on the process can be found at https://www2.ncdhhs.gov/dhsr/rules/index.html. The NC Division of Health Service Regulation has also provided comment on the need for the rules, finding them all to be “Necessary without substantive public interest.” The Division has established a public comment period through May 20 for input from providers on the necessity of the rules.
