Physician Representative to the NCCRA Board of Directors

From our Immediate-Past President:

Dear NCCRA Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to announce that Paula Miller, MD has agreed to serve as Physician Representative to the NCCRA Board of Directors. In addition to her busy cardiology practice at UNC Heart & Vascular Center, Dr. Miller is Clinical Associate Professor at UNC School of Medicine and Director of the Women’s Heart Program at UNC Chapel Hill.

Dr. Miller has been Medical Director of UNC Hospitals Cardiac Rehab since 2002. Before this, she served as Medical Director of Orange Cardiovascular Foundation. Dr. Miller is passionate about cardiac rehabilitation and this is reflected in the active role she plays in the day to day operation of our program. She is a popular Triangle area speaker on women’s heart health and is the driving force behind UNC Hospitals’ Employee Health Fairs. In her spare time, Dr. Miller enjoys swimming, live music, and cooking.

It has been my privilege to work with Dr. Miller for nearly 20 years. Her heart is truly invested in the work that we do. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Miller to the NCCRA Board of Directors!

Healthy regards,

Betty
